Job Description

CVs Avenue is searching for talented professional CV writers and designers, Freelance/Home-based, bi-lingual (Arabic & English), who have experience in recruitment and hiring across various sectors, organizations and agencies.

This is a call for applications for future opportunities, determined by the needs of the CV Writing team. Applications submitted will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and only shortlisted applicants will be notified and asked to complete the hiring process.

An applicant should be versatile, freelance/home-based writer with international development experience who can pen expert CVs that can stand out in a pool of applications.

If you are well-versed in terminologies used in writing winning CV’s, able to help clients analyze their backgrounds and experiences and showcase their best skill sets, and confident in giving career advice to professionals from different countries and cultures, we would love to talk to you.

The main responsibilities of the CV Professional Maker are:

• Fully rewrite CVs for clients across multiple industries– revising the format, content, and writing style – to develop a new, effective CV based on their qualifications and career goals.
• Use the CVs Avenue standard templates, transfer the clients’ existing CV’s into the new template, and adjust the content and layout to produce professionally finished CV’s.
• Only when required, discuss career gaps with clients and clear up missing links to aid in writing and improving CV drafts.
• Ensure that the rewritten CVs match the responsibilities of the types of jobs that the client would like to apply to.
• Fulfill assignments within the agreed timeframe for each project and ideally be able to take multiple projects at once.
• Coordinate regularly with our CV Writing Team on project progress, issues, and scheduled online meetings, while working remotely.
• We also offer additional services at the client’s request, such as career coaching and interview preparation, but these are assigned based on the CV writer’s level of experience.

Please note that our clients expect new CVs, so this is a CV writing and designing position and not merely an editing or proofreading role.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have at least a 4-year degree.
• Must have previous paid experience in reviewing and writing at least 20 CVs for clients.
• Ability to write and edit CV content, including crafting new content and making strategic decisions about what to include and what to remove.
• Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience of MS Word.
• Critical thinking and time management skills.
• Must have a PayPal account.
• Outstanding written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Experience working with people from various cultures.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with diverse clients in both languages Arabic and English.
• Able to communicate regularly, promptly and politely, with a team through phone, email, WhatsApp, online video, and other communication and project management software tools.
• Ability to follow clear instructions.
• Able to easily adapt to the CVs Avenue CV Writing Style.
• Able to manage and keep track of deadlines, with working, reliable and fast internet access.
• Exceptional client management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Recruitment experience and the ability to provide on-the-spot career advice is a major plus.
• Knowledge of other languages (French, Turkish, Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
• Graphics design skills are a plus.
• Project Management certification or knowledge is a plus.
• Translation experience and advanced skills from/to English and Arabic (or between English and another language) is a plus.

You can complete as many orders as you like, as long as the complete instructions set forth have been met and all orders are submitted on time. Compensation

We compensate our CV writers on a CV-by-CV basis via PayPal, only after the payment collection from our client is secured.
